I didn’t have a problem with the ending giving only three options, but the execution and the crap afterwards made no sense (the Normandy running away etc…). 

Since they announced that this would conclude the trilogy I had already resigned myself to Shepard sacrificing himself, so I am fine with that, in fact it seems rather fitting. But the events after that at best make no sense (yet? *cough DLC*) and at worst make a mockery of the sacrifices the Normandy crew were willing to make. 

In my head those sections, much like the rumoured Star Wars prequels, don’t exist, and the fate of the Normandy and her crew remain a mystery that remains unexplained (yet? *cough DLC), and Lynx Shepard saved the fuckin’ day. Hoorah!
